Our team building process How we work

A team day is only worth the time if something changes afterwards. So we plan it like a project, with a clear goal at the start and a written summary at the end.

A group seated in a circle for the facilitated debrief
  1. Planning call

Fifteen minutes about your team: what is working, what is not, and what you want people to do differently afterwards.

  2. Proposal

A programme designed around that outcome, with one all-inclusive price. We can find the venue too.

  3. The day

Mark and our facilitators run everything with our own equipment, so you can take part instead of organising.

  4. Debrief and written summary

A facilitated debrief on the day, then a short summary by email so managers can follow up.

Example summary

Programme summary: Finance & Operations teams

Programme
The Communication Programme, half day
Group
34 people, two departments
Goal agreed
Fewer dropped hand-overs between Finance and Operations

What we saw

  • Both sides of the bridge started building before agreeing measurements.
  • Questions flowed one way only, from Operations to Finance.
  • After the midpoint check-in, the two sides closed the gap in 12 minutes.

Suggested follow-up

  • A weekly 10-minute hand-over check between the two team leads.
  • One shared tracker for month-end requests.

The planning call

Before we suggest anything, Mark spends fifteen minutes on the phone with you, or you fill in our team brief. We ask about the team, what is working, what is not, and what you would like people to do differently afterwards. That decides which programme we recommend.

The debrief

At the end of each challenge, our facilitator leads a conversation that links what happened to how your team works: who led, how information moved, and what got in the way. For very large groups we keep it short and lively. For smaller teams we go deeper and agree one or two things to try back at work.

The written summary

After the day we email a short summary: the goal we agreed, what we saw, what came up in the debrief and practical suggestions for following up. It makes it easy to report back on the day and gives managers something to build on.

Pricing

Each programme is priced for your group, not per head. Your proposal shows one all-inclusive figure based on your numbers, the programme, the length of the day and the location, so there are no surprises.

Start with a 15‑minute planning call

Tell Mark what is going on in your team. He will suggest a programme and send a proposal with one all-inclusive price. No obligation.
